Yoga Teaching

Yoga is a beautiful practice to reduce stress, gain mobility, strength and flexibility. Asana is the physical component that we're all familiar with, but yoga is a complex and layered system, with components that can be applied to daily life. As a yoga teacher, I incorporate gentle slow flowing asana that brings mobility and strength. I also include Pranayama or breath-work and mindfulness meditation to down regulating the nervous system and promote relaxation and ease feelings of anxiety. I regularly teach Yoga Nidra workshops, the yogic sleep, which is a one way ride to deep relaxation.
